Every septic system needs regular service.
Just like any utility, there are components that need to be checked, cleaned, inspected, and adjusted to ensure proper treatment, proper flows, and to prevent costly repairs and backups.
Simply pumping your tank is not a complete service (it’s only one of the several things that need to be done). Most pumpers are trained (and insured) only to pump your tank, and cannot perform other services and inspections. So please don’t assume that your pumper is doing all of the other critical items when they pump your tank.
