Your septic tank’s job is to separate the solids (toilet paper, waste, grease, etc) from the liquids. The solids are stored in the septic tank while the liquids are sent to the septic field treatment area. These stored solids need to be removed by a certified pumper truck service on a regular basis. We call this “septic tank pumping” or “septic tank pump-out”. Cleaning your tank of the collected solids ensures proper treatment and functioning of your system.
BASED ON NORMAL USAGE AND OCCUPANCY
2026 Tank Cleaning / Pumper Truck rates*
$399 – Base rate, includes first 1000 gals
+ $0.15/gal for any volume between 1000 gals and 1500 gals
+ $0.55/gal for any volume above 1500 gals
60ft of hose is included in these rates. $0.50/ft for extra hose.
Normal service area is Okotoks, Dewinton, Aldersyde, Black Diamond, Millarville, Priddis, High River, Bragg Creek, and Springbank. Other outlying areas may incur a small additional charge.
Emergencies (calls after 3pm on weekdays, or any weekends/holiday)
Add $400
$50/tank – Extra time spent to service a system (i.e. overdue service, difficult access).
$175/hr – Standby time.
